Obtaining a Police Report
Copies of accident reports and incident reports are available to parties involved in the incident, their legal representatives, and in many cases, the general public under the Georgia Open Records Act.
To request a report, contact the Records Division at (478) 414-4076 or visit in person at 125 Floyd L Griffin Jr St, Monday–Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. A small fee per page may apply.

Arrest Record Restriction
If your charges were dismissed, not prosecuted, or you were acquitted, you may qualify to have your arrest record restricted from public access. Download and complete the form above, then submit it to the Records Division.
Processing Time
Standard records requests are fulfilled within 3–5 business days. Complex requests may take longer. For urgent needs, call Records at (478) 414-4076
