Police Officer
Sworn law enforcement officer serving the City of Milledgeville. Patrol, community policing, traffic enforcement, and emergency response.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- U.S. citizen with valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- P.O.S.T. certification (or willingness to complete academy)
- Pass background, polygraph, physical, and psychological evaluations
Communications Officer / Dispatcher
The first voice the public hears in an emergency. Operate radio, telephone, and CAD systems to dispatch police, fire, and EMS resources.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong multitasking and communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and required training certifications
