About Municipal Court
The Milledgeville Municipal Court handles violations of city ordinances, traffic offenses, and misdemeanor offenses occurring within the city limits. The court is presided over by the Municipal Court Judge.

Paying Your Citation
You have several options to pay a traffic citation or municipal fine:

- In Person: Visit the Municipal Court Clerk's Office during business hours.
- By Mail: Send a check or money order to 125 Foyd L Griffin Jr St., Milledgeville, GA 31061. Include your citation number.
Contesting a Citation
If you wish to contest your citation, you must appear in court on or before your scheduled court date. Do not pay the citation if you plan to contest it, as payment is an admission of guilt.

Failure to Appear
Failure to appear in court on your scheduled date may result in additional fines, a bench warrant for your arrest, and/or suspension of your driver's license by the Georgia Department of Driver Services.
