About Support Services
Support Services provides the critical administrative and logistical backbone that keeps the Milledgeville Police Department running efficiently. While less visible than patrol or investigations, these functions are essential to effective law enforcement.
Communications / Dispatch
MPD dispatchers coordinate all officer responses, manage radio communications across field units, and handle non-emergency calls around the clock. All dispatchers are GCIC certified.
Administrative Services
Handles departmental finances, purchasing, personnel administration, grant management, and coordination with City of Milledgeville government.
Building Services
Oversees the maintenance, upkeep, and operational readiness of MPD facilities to ensure a safe and functional environment for officers and the public.
