About the Patrol Division
The Uniformed Patrol Division is the backbone of the Milledgeville Police Department. Patrol officers are the most visible members of the department and serve as the primary point of contact between the community and law enforcement.
Officers are assigned to one of three patrol shifts — day, evening, and overnight — ensuring continuous coverage 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Each shift is supervised by a Patrol Lieutenant and Sergeant.
